Lisa graduated from Baylor University with a B.S. degree in Education specializing in English. She continued her education at the University of North Texas earning a M.S. degree in Educational Administration.  She has taught at the elementary level, served as an Assistant Principal at the elementary and middle school level, and worked as an independent consultant for Region X Educational Service Center in Dallas, Texas as a generalist and Language Arts Specialist.
