Developing Uncommon Education Leaders

This session will provide teachers and administrators the fundamentals of leadership that will develop them as education leaders in the classroom and throughout their school districts. It will focus on:

  • The core skills of a leader
  • Building relationships, communicating effectively, solving problems and leading projects
  • The fundamentals of leading teams and classrooms
  • The qualities of education leaders, the principles of education leadership, the roles of an education leader: teacher, mentor, coach, evaluator and role model

About James Sfayer | Senior Marine Instructor, Marine Corps JROTC Program, Abraham Clark High School, Roselle, NJ Lieutenant Colonel Jim Sfayer was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY where he attended St. Francis College and received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies. He received an MBA in Business Administration from Long Island University.
